We find the ISO 15552 U SERIES cylinders: an ideal solution for industrial applications where strength, efficiency and durability are required. The Artec Pneumatic U SERIES groups large ISO 15552 pneumatic cyl inders, i.e. bores from 160 to 320 mm, with standard strokes up to 2700 mm. Cylinders in this series are made with a round tube and external tie rods, suitable for the installation of magnetic sensors and fixing accessories. The rod of the U SERIES cylinders is made of chrome-plated C45 steel and is particularly resistant. It can also be made of chrome-plated AISI 304 stainless steel for even greater strength. The tie-rods are made of AISI 304 stainless steel and the sleeves can also be made of stainless steel to provide even greater resistance in corrosive environments.

Versatile pneumatic cylinders

There are five different rod seal options, so the U SERIES cylinder can adapt to any application and environment. Various versions and executions are available, including tandem. Thanks to the experience and flexibility of Artec Pneumatic’s in-house technical department and workshop – which has specialised in the production of pneumatic cylinders for more than 40 years – it is also possible to make special, customised versions to suit specific application requirements.
