ARTEC Pneumatic for the Environment: 200 Cocoa Trees Planted in Cameroon with Treedom
At the end of 2019, ARTEC Pneumatic launched a meaningful environmental initiative: planting trees through Treedom, the world’s first online platform that allows you to plant trees remotely with just a click.
We chose to plant 200 cocoa trees in Cameroon, making a tangible contribution to CO₂ reduction and global reforestation. Trees absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, acting as essential “lungs” for our planet. That’s why we named our forest “The Best Way To Air”—a name that also echoes the efficiency and reliability of our ISO pneumatic cylinders.
Environmental Sustainability and Social Impact
This green action goes beyond ecological benefits. Through Treedom, planting trees also means supporting local economies. In regions like Cameroon, growing fruit trees provides vital income and food security for rural communities. The harvested cocoa helps local families start sustainable agricultural businesses, improving their living conditions and fostering economic independence.
A Simple Gesture with a Powerful Message
Planting a tree may be a simple click, but it sends a strong signal of commitment to the climate, the environment, and future generations. You can also be part of this positive change—Treedom allows you to gift a tree to friends or colleagues, offering a gesture that brings hope to the planet and opportunity to communities in need.
Every tree planted through Treedom is geolocated and trackable online, with a dedicated webpage sharing its story and the people who care for it.
