A significant milestone for sustainability
With an expansion of 83.07 kWp, we have increased the total capacity of our photovoltaic system to more than 165 kWp, achieving an estimated annual production of over 104,000 kWh of clean energy and a reduction of 33.5 tonnes of CO2. This important milestone was reached together with Energy Intelligence, whom we chose for their expertise in upgrading the photovoltaic system at our site in Cento (FE), on Via Benedetto Zallone.
The project delivered
The project involved the design and installation of a new section on the factory roof. It is a high-efficiency system based on Jinko Solar 585 W modules and SolarEdge inverters, designed to ensure maximum performance and full architectural integration. Thanks to the new advanced monitoring system, we can track production, self-consumption and energy performance in real time, improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
Our choice
We decided to expand our photovoltaic system with the clear aim of reducing our environmental footprint and making a tangible contribution to a more sustainable future. In this journey, we identified Energy Intelligence as the ideal partner: a company rooted in the local area, able to combine technological innovation, constant support and technical expertise, ensuring system efficiency and specialist advice.
Self-consumption and efficiency
The system will enable us to self-consume more than 75% of the energy produced, reducing our reliance on the grid and contributing to the decarbonisation of the Cento manufacturing district. This result confirms how the energy transition increasingly depends on businesses’ ability to innovate and work together in a practical way.
Joining CentoCER
In addition to upgrading our own system, we have also joined CentoCER, one of the Renewable Energy Communities supported by Energy Intelligence as technical partner. CERs represent an innovative model of energy production and sharing, capable of generating environmental and social value at local level: sharing energy means sharing value, responsibility and vision.
A valuable result
We are proud to have taken part in this project, where the expertise involved has made a difference for our company, for the environment and for the community, while also contributing to the growth of CentoCER and the wider local area.
