ISO 14001 Certification and ISO 9001:2015 Certification

The company is in the process of obtaining ISO 14001 certification (environmental management system), which ‘will be integrated,’ explains Alberto Fortini, the company’s sales manager, in an interview for ‘La Nuova Ferrara’, ‘with ISO 9001:2015 certification (quality management system)’.

In addition to the certificates of recognition, this is a real company philosophy for Artec. For some time now, in fact, the company has been implementing actions to control the environmental impact of its production towards maximum sustainability.

“We have decided to integrate this environmental certification with the ISO 9001 organisational model, because it is important that this is taken on board as a company strategy and policy”. “Even in industrial waste management,” continues Alberto Fortini, “we do not limit ourselves to fulfilling legal obligations, but seek to invest in solutions that minimise the production of waste and pollutants to be disposed of.

ISO 14001 Environmental Management

The environmental management system (ISO 14001) is a fundamental tool for ‘the disciplined direction of a company towards environmental issues. Which,’ Fortini explains, ‘are regulated by increasingly stringent legal requirements, increasingly challenging operating contexts and constantly changing conditions’.

In recent years, the subject of sustainability has also become a topic of discussion in business negotiations. A decisive choice factor, especially on the part of foreign customers and suppliers. “Every year we are audited by foreign customers, and during the review and evaluation process, the auditor takes into consideration both the technical aspects of the work, as well as the work in terms of environmental sustainability.
